F2F Meetings

We believe that meeting our clients and candidates face to face is essential, which is why we primarily concentrate on the local market.

Meeting for a chat, helps us gain a clearer understanding of both what the recruiter is looking for in an agency, and what an agency is looking for in a recruiter.  We recognise that the key factors for a recruiter are: role, sector, earning potential and office environment, and for the agency: a proven biller with the right personality fit for their office culture.

We believe you can only truly gain this knowledge by meeting face to face and having a conversation.

Available 24/7

We are always available, whether it’s first thing, during the day, the evening or the weekend.

We know that it’s not always possible to speak during working hours and with that in mind, we ensure that one of us is always on the other end of the phone to suit your needs.

The same flexibility applies when we meet face to face.

Honesty is the best policy

We are two personable, ethical, straight-talking Yorkshire consultants who guarantee both honesty and transparency.

We wouldn’t send a recruiter somewhere that we wouldn’t want to work ourselves, which is why we are selective with our client base (13-hour days are old skool).

We also believe in giving both parties constructive feedback, as ultimately it is in everyone’s best interest to be honest.

“Quality over quantity”

Candidate generation mainly comes from referrals and headhunts, rather than job boards.

We feel that personal recommendations or detailed searches result in better candidates to present to our clients. Using EKC you will not be inundated with irrelevant CVs, but ones which match your brief.

Likewise, recruiters can be assured that their CV will not be sent out without their consent, and if there is something you want to prioritise with your next position, we will only discuss agencies who can offer that.
