Changing your view on neurodiversity
Welcome
Hi, I’m Ellie Kay. a late diagnosed ADHDer and an EMCC Certified, ICF/AC trained Coach, Neurodiversity Trainer, Speaker and CMC accredited Workplace Mediator. I specialise in coaching ADHD and AuDHD women to understand their brains, build confidence and move forward with clarity and self compassion.
ADHD wasn’t recognised in girls when I was growing up, so I spent most of school chatting, daydreaming and arguing about forgotten homework. After studying psychology at university, I fell into recruitment, starting my first business at 27 and going on to launch three more in recruitment and construction. I even ended up on The Apprentice in 2011 - I’m still living off those five weeks of fame!
My life hasn’t always been easy though. At 29 I was diagnosed with cervical cancer which left me infertile. I was divorced at 34. Through it all I kept going, but I carried a lot of shame and self criticism.
Getting my ADHD diagnosis at 45 was the turning point. Suddenly everything made sense. I could look back with understanding instead of judgement. That new self compassion inspired me to change direction completely to train as a coach. I now help others find that same acceptance and understanding I did, in order to move forwards with their lives positively.
Let’s Talk
Business Owner, Leaders & HR Teams - would you like me to help relieve the headache of neurodiversity in the workplace through management training, coaching, workshops. Or pehaps you have a mediation which requires specialist neurodiversity knowledge.
ADHD & AuDHD Women - would you like my help to feel more confident going forward in work and in life?
