We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Ellie to host one of our Lunch and Learn sessions, where she shared her personal insights and experiences of living with ADHD and her knowledge of Autism.
Ellie is a truly natural presenter. She captivated us from the start with her powerful life story, offering not only a window into her own journey but also valuable advice and practical guidance on how we, as a business, can create a more supportive and inclusive environment for neurodivergent colleagues.
Her openness, warmth and ability to connect with the audience meant the session resonated with everyone in the room. Colleagues left with a deeper understanding, fresh perspectives and tangible ideas on how to make a positive difference in the workplace.
The presentation was incredibly well received and the feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. Ellie’s contribution has sparked meaningful conversations and further strengthened our commitment to building a culture where every individual feels valued, supported and able to thrive.

I was recently in attendance at a conference Ellie was a guest speaker at. To say I was blown away by her would be an understatement.
Ellie has such a presence when she speaks. The way she tells her story is funny, heart wrenching and insightful. You go through every emotion as she takes you on her rollercoaster of a journey. No boring, bog standard, death by PowerPoint here. As well as entertaining, she is so knowledgeable.
I learned some really interesting statistics surrounding those of us who have ADHD and or Autism. She is so passionate about neurodivergence, coaching and understanding all the nuances of it in men, women and children and helping others to understand too in such a way that it really sticks in your head. I do not think an hour was enough for me. I could have listened to her much longer.
She is easy to watch and listen to. Relatable, confident, charismatic and really engaging. Everyone I spoke to mentioned her as a stand out of the day and I agree. I will be an avid follower from now on. If you have the opportunity to watch and listen to Ellie or hire her for an event or podcast then do. You will be learning from a passionate, knowledgeable advocate and an expert by lived experience.

Ellie joined one of our accredited mediator programmes and stood out immediately as a fantastic people person who engaged brilliantly with her peers and proved to be a natural mediator.
One of Ellie’s many attributes is her openness about neurodiversity and how she makes the topic comfortable and relatable for everybody. Ellie’s own personal ADHD diagnosis is a real strength, and the work she does educating and coaching around the subject makes a real difference.
My personal view is that Ellie will continue to be an increasingly influential expert in the whole field of neurodiversity, and her own neurodivergence means you are dealing with a true expert.
I would highly recommend Ellie to anybody. She is a fantastic person.

I happened to be in a room with a friend where the speaker was Ellie Kay.
This girl knows her craft. She also knows nero-diversity inside out. An off-the-scale speaker, when coupled with poignant and heart-wrenching real-life examples of the troubles of living with neuro-diversity, is a powerful cocktail. Ellie Kay is that powerful cocktail.
Wow. Just wow.

Ellie is great :)
I'm so glad I found her, or maybe she found me! Navigating ADHD has been challenging and emotionally draining at times, especially since it's a fairly new diagnosis for me.
It often feels lonely and confusing, but Ellie has truly helped me gain perspective. She also has her own journey with ADHD, which is fascinating to hear and often reveals similarities.
Ellie is incredibly easy to talk to, always informative, curious, and unapologetically herself, which I admire.. She provides clear objectives for each session, which I really appreciate. I look forward to seeing where our coaching sessions take me - highly recommended!!

I would recommend Ellie for anyone who thinks they have or knows they have ADHD, she has helped me hugely. By allowing myself to open up to her gave me the courage to unmask and I really opened up to her she is so understanding and is very knowledgeable. After are sessions I was able to sleep better with Ellie’s recommendation of podcasts. When feeling overwhelmed Ellie told me techniques that have really helped me carm myself down. I’m no longer road rage as we spoke about we look like absolute idiot. Then feel awful for it afterwards.
As Ellie has ADHD herself she gets me and she’ll get you. I would highly encourage anyone seeking to have coaching to give Ellie a shout. Amazing! Relaxing! Comfortable! Understanding! Funny! Thank you so much Ellie for everything you have done for me and for my family without even realising you have helped us all just by educating me that I am normal, well normal as I can be.

Ellie helped me by giving me the tools to use my ADHD traits as strengths rather than weaknesses and helped me put processes in place to help me be more effective in the workplace and at home. I would recommend Ellie to anybody who is feeling frustrated and held back by ADHD. Her personable friendly approach, backed up with vast knowledge and experience around the subject, makes her an excellent mentor and coach. Thank you!

I attended a lunch & learn with Ellie recently and was so glad I went. As someone who is undiagnosed but pretty certain I have adhd, it was informative and so relatable. Understanding traits and being given a few simple but effective solutions to put in place meant I left feeling less scared about the way I feel my brain can sometimes hold me back, and much more in control.
Her honesty with her own journey was really inspiring too, and made me reflect on my own life and how being neurodivergent may have influenced my decisions.
The talk also sparked conversations about how employers can improve staff retention and engagement through simple conversations, which is a topic that I think is really important in times where we can clearly see working life habits are changing.
Would recommend Ellie if you’re looking to understand more about neurodiversity and adhd in particular.
Thank you Ellie - will definitely be staying in touch!

Ellie was friendly and warm from the first minute our conversation started, she was willing to listen to what we wanted as a service. She engaged well with parents

Working with Ellie was genuinely transformative for me. In just six sessions, she helped me move from an incredibly toxic and confidence-draining work environment into a role with exciting long-term potential.
What stood out most was her ability to balance practical career strategy with real emotional support. She helped me navigate and survive a very difficult situation while also rebuilding my confidence and reminding me of my value and strengths.
As an ADHD woman and mother, I also found her approach incredibly relatable and reassuring. She was warm, approachable and easy to talk to, while still being insightful, professional and highly effective. I never felt judged or overwhelmed. Instead I felt understood, supported and empowered to take action.
I can honestly say I would not have made this transition without her guidance, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone feeling stuck, burnt out or ready for something better.

Ellies Workshop has opened my eyes to the many ways a neurodivergent colleague can contribute to our team- not just through their skills, but through their unique and problem-solving approaches.
The session was informative and deeply human. Hearing Ellie’s personal stories has helped me understand the daily challenges that neuro divergent face and the incredible strengths they bring when given the right support. It made me reflect on how our workplace is working to be inclusive.
She shared with us practical steps such as how to create more accessible communication, how to support different working styles, and how to create a working environment where everyone feels safe to be themselves.
I left the lunch and learn, feeling inspired and better equipped to be an ally to our neurodivergent team. The session is a great opportunity for companies to understand not only how to get the best out of their people but also how to create a culture of inclusivity not just in policy, but in practice.Ellies Workshop has opened my eyes to the many ways a neurodivergent colleague can contribute to our team- not just through their skills, but through their unique and problem-solving approaches.
